A-lab is an Oslo-based, international architecture office that aims to create innovative architecture with strong identity and sustainable urbanism. The office was founded in 2000 and has rapidly expanded to be one of the largest architecture offices in Norway.
A-lab is working on a wide spectrum of projects of various scales and with different programs. Our project portfolio ranges from office buildings, retail, residential projects, cultural centers and public buildings to complex urban masterplans, most of which are results of winning competitions.
Most of our projects currently under construction are results of won competitions. During recent years, A-lab has simultaneously lead the DNB Barcode and Statoil International & Regional Offices – the two largest building projects in the country.
